Mappings
The attributes of variables for the test can differ from the attributes of the variables of the SUT. To handle those differences, mappings are needed. Select View|Mapping Editor or click Edit mappings in the Declaration Editor to open the Mapping Editor. A mapping consists of a name and several mapping flavors, for example, Min/Max, Rename or Scaling, see Figure "Mapping editor".
The following icons can be used to add, delete, or duplicate a mapping.
create a new mapping | |
delete the selected mapping
copy the selected mapping
paste the previously copied or cut mapping
duplicate the selected mapping
move the selected mapping up
move the selected mapping down |
Select a mapping and select the flavors you want to add. This mapping can be selected in the Platform Configuration dialog. When executing the test, this mapping is used.
Each mapping flavor, for example the Scaling mapping flavor, has specific attributes displayed in the Declaration Editor.
